NHP Models / NHP Studies
With a wide breadth of available NHP models, a substantial non-human primate capacity, deep experience, and immediate availability for many models, PharmaLegacy is uniquely suited to run your NHP studies.
Finding a partner with the non-human primate models you need, and one who can start your study quickly, can seemingly be a tall order. That is the key problem which PharmaLegacy solves. We maintain ready availability of the vast majority of our NHP models, and other animal models, so we can begin your study in as little as two weeks. As the saying goes: time is money. You’ll be able to make the most of both with PharmaLegacy.
PharmaLegacy puts a wide range of NHP models at your service. Our available models span immunity and inflammation, metabolism, ophthalmology, hematology and thrombosis, pain, wound healing, cardiology, and more. We can further leverage NHPs in your pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and toxicology studies, providing you with the most clinically relevant insights you can get outside of a clinical setting.
With our scientific staff averaging over 15 years of experience, there is no cutting corners. You can simply expect more when you work with PharmaLegacy.
Facilities & Sourcing for Non-Human Primates
Our research laboratories at PharmaLegacy are equipped to house more than 350 NHPs for your studies, with capacity for another 30,000 Cynomolgus and Rhesus monkeys available off-site.
We are acutely cognizant of the concern for the ethical sourcing and treatment of animals. PharmaLegacy has repeatedly audited its non-human primate supply chain and affirmed that all of its NHPs are farm-raised for research use. Supplier providence and detailed animal information can be provided to all clients upon request.
PharmaLegacy is an AAALAC accredited facility.
NHPs account for less than half a percent of all animals used in medical research, but they have a disproportionate impact on the knowledge that is gained from preclinical studies. NHP models are a critical means to accelerate our understanding of investigational therapies and, in turn, accelerate your pipelines. Contact PharmaLegacy today and let’s get the answers you need.
